Canon Abilities: Here. Pike's magicial abilities come from her devotion to the Everlight, a goddess from Exandria. As a cleric of the Everlight, she has access to spells and abilities. If she strays too far from her path, those abilities will be taken away.
Role: Legend
Role Qualities/Attributes: With wings being a blessing that the Everlight gave her back home, wings will be how this manifests with her.
Role Reasoning: While Pike has been, in Dungeons and Dragons terms, Chaotic Good and Neutral, she's seen as a genuinely good person. She cares about those around her, strives to protect people, and heals those that need healing. She brings back the teachings of a goddess thought long gone. She's considered one of the moral compasses of her friend group, and she puts herself in a "motherly" position in so she can take care of them. She uses her powers for good. That doesn't necessarily mean she can't have fun with the rest of her friends, but she will make sure everyone gets home safe and tucked into bed.

What was the most traumatic experience your character endured? How did this change them?
---Pike's most traumatic experience was being killed by the glabrezu Juurezel. Vox Machina had been trying to defeat it, and Pike was picked up in the monster's pincers and nearly cut in half - dealing enough damage to kill her. Her friends were thankfully in a city with a competent enough cleric that could resurrect her - and was successful. Death not only changed her emotionally, but physically. Her hair went from black to white. She never wanted to go through that again. She spent four months at sea becoming a sailor and getting enough strength to wear plate armor, but also enough strength of mind that she went from a Life Domain to a War Domain to show her hardened resolve.

What experience challenged your character's core beliefs? How did they handle this or change from it?
---Finding her Holy Symbol cracked. Most of her life, she's been devout, following the Everlight's tenents. But she suspected it was for killing an unarmed creature, and this was the Everlight's punishment for her. It turned her world upside down. She thought it was simple enough just to ask for forgiveness and in an afternoon she would be fine, but this was more than that. It was something deep within herself that she had to overcome - being a devout follower versus being part of Vox Machina. She felt she couldn't reconcile the two - but the Everlight told her she could. After days of prayer and forgiveness, she and her goddess reconciled.

What is the most important and defining relationship(s) in your character's life and why?
---There are several important relationships in Pike's life. The first being her friendship with Grog, the goliath barbarian. Her great great grandfather was saved by him, and in return, Pike saved Grog's life after he was beaten to within an inch of death. They grew up as close as brother and sister. Pike often acts and Grog's moral compass, and defends him from insult. She, on the other hand, impresses him when she's ferocious. No two could be closer friends. The second relationship is that with the other gnome in their party, Scanlan. The bard was immediately enamoured with her when they first met, but Pike always brushed him off. Throughout the years they've had a pretty up and down relationship, and after the fall of Vecna, they decided to date. Pike's always felt something deep down for him, and often pushed it to the side because she thought she loved another. They let their friendship blossom before deciding to take the jump into a relationship. They would later marry and have children together. The third is with Vox Machina as a whole. Aside from her grandfather, these people are her family. Her ride or die. These are the people she would sacrifice anything for just to keep them safe.

Is your character capable of forgiveness or will they hold a grudge until they die? Would anything ever make them change their mind?
---While capable of forgiveness, Pike can also keep a grudge. When Scanlan first died and was subsequently brought back to life, he called Pike's magic weird and then left the group. While he was gone, she missed him, often talking to him when she was alone. When he came back, she wanted to immediately forgive him, but then became angry with him when she remembered what he said. She told him that his words had hurt her, that her "weird magic" was what she did as a cleric, and that it insulted her. While Scanlan apologized, she made it very clear that he would have to earn her trust back. It took weeks for him to do so.
